How to get first Twitter followers fast
This article is by no means about getting quality followers. It shows just a technique of getting initial hundred or so followers so your new account does not look bare.
It is always better, if you can, to ask some friends and business you have relationship with to follow you. Follow some people/businesses from your area and some of them will follow back. Honestly, this is the best way.
If you can’t do this, and you feel that account with very few followers would look unprofessional – read on.
The method outlined below is a last resort. The folks you are going to get are spammers, but they will serve you for a while until you find real people. Then you can “unfollow” them.
You will be targeting people who use automated follow software. Their bots (programs) scan Twitter and “follow” anybody with interests matching their field. They automatically extract this information from your profile page.
Why do they follow? Because some people will follow them back. If you do not follow back, they will unfollow you after a while. All this is automated.
So what should you put into your Twitter description? A couple of tips: SEO (very effective), Social Marketing, Photography (catches less spammy guys) and, generally speaking popular sports. This will do.
You will get your followers in no time. You will also get a lot of ladies with links to adult content in their description. My advice is to block them, as this does not look good.
I have to emphasize one thing: those followers have absolutely no value. They do not read your tweets, and they do not tweet by themselves, most of it is automated and serves the purpose of building a network of naive people who are their potential customers.
